Never liked the the i-drive system. After the 90's GT bikes went rather sh*te! For me, a bike needs to look good (GT doesn't!) And perform well!

Yeah i heard its good for xc/trail riding as thats what i ride too. Its meant to cover ground faster and more comfortably? Was contemplating the idea of buying a Kona Unit 29, but thankfully i already have 3 bikes too many and not enough funds! lol So i'll stick with them for now. :)

Nice! I like your style of buying bikes! ;) Not sold on the 29er idea of bikes though, but i gues i'm willing to give it a try if the oportunity arises. :S

Didn't realise RaceFace could make such llight cranks! Wonder how stiff or flexy it is though? :S

Aw right cool man. A 34T should be fine for most red trail centre stuff then. Smile

Hi mate. Yeah well I run a 32T front ring with a 11-36T 10 speed cassette. I ride pretty steep trails and all day most of the time so the easy cog certainly helps. Depends on your style of riding, trails and bike though? You planning on keeping a 9 speed cassette?
